Current Action Dice
- Namaphry: 2d6(self)/2d6(others)
- Glim: 2d6(self)/2d6(others)
- lhx: 1d6(self)/2d6(others)
At every level you get a number of action dice equivalent to your level. At 3rd level you will have 3. You will not GAIN 3. You will HAVE 3. If you don't spend the 2 you get at second level, you don't get to keep them. Use them or lose them.
Each action dice may be traded in for a single d6 that you can add to any d20 roll (not damage). You may only use one for any roll.
It is YOU the player who chooses to use them to get a better outcome in the story. Do not argue for or against using action dice because of Role Play. They are for YOU, not your CHARACTER.
You have 1 set of action dice for yourself, and one set for other players. That means that, at level 2, you have 2 action dice you can use on your own rolls, and 2 you can use to benefit other players. These stack with the action dice you roll for yourself, potentially creating very high roll opportunities.
As a benefit, pure-class clerics may use their personal action dice to benefit another player, meaning they may add 2 action dice to another player's roll.
