+====== Background ======
+I never knew my parents, but learned quickly that the world was an awful place to grow up. In and out of orphanages I went as a child, until I finally ran away, out of the city to make my own way. A farmer found me taking his crops and took me in. He and his wife raised me as their own. I still managed to sneak around and take extra crops from time to time. Being poor was awful, and you never forget that. When I grew up, I decided to give the city life a try once more. I, not having much in the way of marketable skills, fell in with [[wiki:steepost:thedius-esquiret|Thedius Esquiret]]. He found my nimbleness and ability to blend in useful to his operations. I earned enough to survive, and he did not ask any questions when I disappeared from time to time. Now, I'm a Scout for some of his more, let's say "questionable" enterprises. The pay is good and he lets me keep what I steal, as long as it isn't from him. I have the kind of face that let's me hide in plain sight, and blend in with a crowd.
+I'm not big into the whole religious thing like those crazies across the river. They are practically fanatical. I try to keep out of sight, out of mind and not get caught.
